I just had a thought
what if the ending of Tsuritama is like
They’re fighting whatever that giant triangle-owning thing is
and you know that grin from the beginning of the first episode?
like, what if that grin was from Yuki, because he learned to smile and laugh and shit
and then something happens to Haru (obviously) that makes him either die/leave to home
and then the whole movie reel scene happens again in Yuki’s mind of his memories and remembers his grandmother saying
“How would you feel is Haru left one day?” (or some shit like that, because obviously she’ll be dead by the end of the show)
and then it’s all sad and Yuki reels in all the memories of him and Haru and then ending with the line
“Let’s be friends!”
and then tears are shed
and the ending theme starts playing
